|John Gibbons, President|
John has lived in the Sonoma Valley for 8 years now, after having lived in Santa Barbara for over 25 years. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant before finally receiving his MBA in Business from USC. He has worked for and served on the boards of many accomplished organizations and companies over the years including, Price Waterhouse, Com Systems, Inc., and The Sports Club Company, which he served as the Vice Chairman and CEO from 2001-2004. John has volunteered his time at the Santa Barbara Christmas Cheer and the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission, and is an avid Habitat for Humanity supporter.
|Patsy Wynne, Secretary|
Moved to Sonoma in 2005 and previously lived in Marin County teaching early education for 32 years. She served on the Board of Marin Foundation and is still an active member in that organization. Patsy has co-chaired the Noche de Luna fundraising event for the La Luz - Vineyard Workers Organization. She also chaired the Newcomers Philanthropic Tea benefiting the Operation Youth Organization of Sonoma High School. She was also on the Board of Marin General Hospital as the Volunteer Representative and is currently a mentor in the Stand By Me Mentoring Program. Patsy and her husband, Rick, have their own direct mail advertising business, as well.
|Paul Mead, Treasurer|
Paul has been a resident of Sonoma Valley for 18 years. He is presently a consultant to the frozen food industry after owning and operating several food import companies over a 35 year international business career. Paul has a BS in Business Administration from Menlo School of Business and a MBA from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Business. A former Board member of the Sonoma Youth Soccer Association and longtime youth soccer coach, he currently coaching both the Girls & Boys Varsity Soccer teams at Justin Siena High School in Napa.
Louann grew up in San Francisco and moved to Sonoma in 1974 where she attended Altimira Middle School and SVHS. She graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Genetics and went on to work at Genencor International in Protein Biochemistry Department for several years. She extended her education with an Administrative Credential and M.A. in Educational Leadership from Sonoma State University and has held many positions within the SVUSD: Science teacher at SVHS for 5 years, Integrated Science and Math teacher at Sonoma Charter School, Vice Principal of Altimira Middle School, Principal of El Verano Elementary School for 6 years and Director of Curriculum and Instruction for 3.5 years. In January 2010, she was appointed Superintendent of SVUSD.
Resident of Sonoma Valley since moving here from England at age 10. He graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2007 with a degree in Wine & Viticulture, Wine Marketing, and Business Plan Development. Danny received his Executive Wine MBA from Bordeaux Ecole de Management in 2011 (Corporate Finance, Marketing, Strategic Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations & Economics) and is now a Partner and Director of Strategy, Finance & Development at Envolve Winery in Sonoma Valley. He has also been a mentor in the 'Stand By Me' Mentoring Program since 2012.
James and his wife moved to Sonoma in 1995, and raised their two adult daughters here. James graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1969 and then spent four years as an officer in the United States Navy. He graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1976. He has been a practicing attorney since then, and opened his own law office in Sonoma in 2000. His law practice is principally as a civil trial lawyer. He has been elected as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. While residing in Petaluma, James was a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission, on the Board of the Petaluma Museum Association, and a member of the Citizen Commission for Reorganization of County Government. Currently, he is a mentor in the Stand By Me Mentoring Program.
A resident of Sonoma Valley since 2001, Cherie has been a practicing clinical psychologist since 1985 specializing in school consultation, child and adolescent assessment, and family issues. She is also Owner of Hughes Family Vineyards, a Member of the Advisory Board for School of Arts and Science, Miami University and formerly member of Board of Directors for Girls, Inc., and the Mental Health Association of Dallas.
Bob has been a Sonoma resident for several years and currently operates a marketing and public relations firm, Context Marketing, based in Sonoma. He has helped companies and organizations persuasively tell their stories for more than 30 years, first in management positions he held with several of the country's leading PR firms, including Edelman and Ketchum, then later through his own firm which was based in Sausalito for a decade.
Elizabeth was born and raised in Sonoma, and has a strong desire to give back to the community that helped shape the person she is today. After receiving her undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara, she attended Loyola Law School at Loyola Marymount University in LA. There she worked at the US Attorney's Office in San Francisco and served as an Editor on Law Review and Vice-President of the Labor and Employment Law Society. She is now currently employed at Gaw Van Male law firm in Napa, California, as an associate in Civil Litigation. Elizabeth is a committee member of the Sonoma Valley Boys and Girls Club, Vice-President and Treasurer of Napa County Women Lawyers, and has been a Mentor in the Stand By Me Mentoring Program since 2012.
A resident of Sonoma, David is a Strategic Consultant working with companies and non-profits throughout Northern California, focusing on a wide variety of management issues and growth opportunities. Currently a Master Chair of Vintage International; Graduated with a BA in Business Administration from University of Pacific; President/CEO of Bell Electrical Supply Inc. from 1970-1985; Co-founder of an educational foundation promoting global interdependence and conflict resolution; past member of the Board of Directors of the Valley of the Moon Teen Center in Sonoma.

A resident of Sonoma since 2010, Lew and his wife moved from Wisconsin to be closer to their family. Lew was a Wisconsin attorney and Of Counsel with the law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP in Milwaukee. He has been recognized in the area of trusts and estates since 2006 in The Best Lawyers in America, and distinguished as a "Wisconsin Super Lawyer," in the area of estate planning and probate by Super Lawyer Magazine. In addition, he is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Lew's community involvement in Wisconsin includes being past president of Milwaukee Jewish Family Services, Congregation Sinai in Fox Point, on the Board of Trustees of Milwaukee Public Library Foundation, Milwaukee Jewish Community Foundation and the Milwaukee Jewish Home Foundation. He currently is also a member of the Public Issues Committee of the San Francisco Jewish Family and Children's Services - Sonoma County Region.
Currently Senior Scholar at the Stanford University Center on Adolescence, studying Youth Purpose, she received an MA in Philosophy of Education: Values in Education and studied at the University of London: Institute of Education. Karen is a resident of Sonoma & San Francisco and is a mentor in the Stand-By-Me Mentoring Program.
In 2007, Brett was selected as the Police Chief for the City of Sonoma, and still serves in that position today. He received his A.A in Administration of Justice from the SRJC, and then obtained his B.A. in Business Management from SSU. After graduating in 1990, he was hired by the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office. Initially working in the county jail, Brett was promoted to deputy sheriff in 1992. Over the course of his career, he has held a variety of specialized assignments including SWAT, Field Training Officer, Mobile Field Force operations, has worked as a background investigator, recruiter, and detective in our Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault/Child Abuse unit. For over 10 years Brett has coached youth sports, served as an advisor in the Sheriff's Explorer Program, and served on the Programs Committee at the Boys and Girls Club of Sonoma Valley. He is on the Board of the Montgomery High School Athletic Booster Club, where he recently completed a 2-year term as president. Brett is married, has 3 teenage children and resides in Santa Rosa.
Born and raised in Sonoma, Mike is the General Manager of Sangiacomo Family Vineyards which his family started more than 80 years ago. Mike received his BS from Santa Clara University and currently coaches the SVHS Varsity Football team. He is a coach for the Sonoma Valley Baseball Little League and the St. Francis' CYO Basketball team as well. Mike also serves on the Board for the Sonoma County Open Space Fiscal Oversight Commission.
A resident of Sonoma since 1987 and Realtor for 18 years, Kelly currently works with Pacific Union International Realty in Sonoma. For the past 22 years she has been an active volunteer and event chair in the private and public schools system, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, and the Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers Alliance. She is graduate of Chico State University with a degree in business with an emphasis in marketing.
Originally from the Oakland/Piedmont area, Marck moved to Novato shortly after marrying his wife in 2007. He graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.S. in Management and later SFSU MBA Program. Marck and his wife, Alison live and work in Sonoma with their young son Connor. Currently the Vice President, Market Manager of Bank of Marin in Sonoma, he is familiar with the banking world, as he previously filed a similar role with Bank of America in Berkeley. Marck is a former board member of the North Bay Children's Center and currently serves as Sergeant at Arms with the Sonoma Valley Rotary.
